Up until now we’ve been kind of bringing you along with the training wheels still on – but now we’re going to teach you a metal guitar scale (some use it as a jazz guitar scale… whatever works for you!) that has a full 8 tones in it – a complete scale. Once you have this scale mastered you’ll have to take further steps on your own, through the DVD lessons or perhaps a professional instructor. Honestly – if you’ve gotten this far you already have an intuitive understanding of how we teach students how to play guitar. Expand your knowledge by picking up the DVD set. It teaches guitar the same way, only it covers so much more ground than my poor fingers can type!
I would hope by now you’ve watched all the free video lessons and started looking at the advanced techniques we teach for those who really want to take their play into the strato-caster-sphere and beyond.
