A minor Guitar Note Chart – Pentatonic Scale

I thought it important to share a graphic that nicely illustrates the guitar note chart I talked about in an earlier lesson. Someone was kind enough to go through the trouble of drawing up a chart and posting it on the web so here is something you ought to print out and use for reference when you’re practicing the basic scale and leads we talked about in lesson 3 earlier.  Guitar note charts like these are handy because they not only demonstrate the position on the neck of the guitar but also the most common fingering of the notes.

I can’t tell you how irritating it is to see a guitar note chart or guitar chord chart without any explanation of the fingering.  I mean… ever seen a chart for an F#/D chord?  They never tell you you’re supposed to wrap your thumb around the back of the neck to catch the F# on the first string.  What a pain it was to figure that out!  At any rate… you can see anything we teach in charts or better still why not sign up for the free online lead guitar lessons videos.
